<p><strong>Starts on Sunday, April 28th and runs through Sunday, June 23rd.</strong></p>
<p>You will be motivated by the competition and could win a personal makeover and much more!<br />

<h3>What’s Included?</h3>
<p><strong>Training:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Weekly Class with team trainer.</li>
<li>Classes to be held on Sunday afternoon</li>
<li>1 class hour duration</li>
<li>Will alternate weekly class times to normalize weigh-ins</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Weekly Weigh-Ins</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Weigh-ins by both trainers – to occur between the two classes.</li>
<li>Only post % lost not weights for individuals and team.</li>
<li>Bulletin board on easel in gym to show team progress.</li>
<li>Weight will be measured to tenths of a pound</li>
<li>Rotating schedule for weigh-ins 1 week prior to class next week after class</li>

<p align="center">The biggest loser this week was <span style="color: #ff0000">Dave C</span> with a 2.31% loss!</p>
<p align="center">The winning team this week was the red team with a 1.16% loss.</p>
<p align="center">The winner of the pedometer challenge was<span style="color: #ff0000"> Tory</span> with a total of 556,624 steps. <span style="color: #00ffff">Deb D</span> was second place with 415,020 ad <span style="color: #00ffff">Deb B</span> was third place with 329,012.  The total steps for everyone over the course of the challenge was <em><strong>4,257,749</strong></em>!!</p>

Everyone who did the initial test and the retest improved.  AWESOME!!!</p>

<p align="center">A repeat this week…<span style="color: #ff0000">Tory</span> had he most steps for the second week with 112,310.  We are at 3,066,521 total steps so far.  The red team has 1,221,827, the black team has 928,371, and the blue team has 916,323.  Will we hit 4,000,00 before the end?</p>
<h3 align="center">Team Challenge</h3>
<p align="center">The team with the greatest percentage loss this week was the <span style="color: #000000">black</span> team with 1.36 percent.  So far the teams have lost a total of 153.8 pounds.  Two more weeks to go!!</p>
<h3 align="center">Individual Challenge</h3>
<p align="center">The biggest loser for the week was <span style="color: #ff0000">Mable</span> with a 3.03 percent loss.  The biggest loser for the black team was Tammy with 1.91 percent.  The biggest loser for the blue team was Tim with 1.69 percent.</p>
<p align="center">Next week is the final team workout.  Everyone works out together at 11am to redo the fitness test.  This is a competition week so come prepared to work hard!!!  With only 2 weeks left in the competition ask yourself why you decided to take part in it?  Then ask yourself if you are doing everything you can to achieve what you set out to do…</p>

<p align="center">This week the person with the most steps was <span style="color: #ff0000">Tory</span> with 120,445.  The total steps so far are 2,376,874.  The <span style="color: #ff0000">red team</span> has 947090, the <span style="color: #000000"><em>black team</em></span> has 760,947, and the <span style="color: #00ffff">blue team</span> has 668,837.</p>
<h3 align="center">Team Challenge</h3>
<p align="center">The team with the greatest percentage loss this week was the <span style="color: #ff0000">red team</span> with .7 percent.  So far the teams have lost a total of <strong>123.7</strong> pounds.  That is AWESOME!!!</p>
<h3 align="center">Individual Challenge</h3>
<p align="center">The biggest loser for the week was <span style="color: #00ffff">Tim</span> with a 1.66 percent loss.  The biggest loser for the red team was <span style="color: #ff0000">Mary</span> with 1.46 percent.  The biggest loser for the black team was <span style="color: #000000"><em>Anne</em></span> with 1.27 percent.</p>

<p align="center">This week marked the midway point and there was a makeover at New Image salon for the person who is our biggest loser so far.  The winner of the makeover is<span style="color: #000000"><em> Keith</em></span>.  CONRATULATIONS!!!</p>

<p>The Pedometer challenge is going strong.  The total steps are 1,447,299.  The person with the most steps this week was Brian B again with 96,934.  He narrowly edged out Tory who had 95, 765.  The black team has a total of 533880 steps, the red team has a total of 459,006 steps. And the blue team has a total of 454,413 steps.  Keep on moving this week.  Don’t forget to wear the pedometer to classes and when you work out!!</p>
<p><strong><strong>The winning team this week</strong></strong></p>
<p>The team that lost the largest percentage this week was the black team with 1.06%.  This was a narrow win with the Blue team was at 1.03% this week. So far the two week weight loss total is 103.6 pounds in 2 weeks!!  That is tremendous!!!  The difference between first, second, and third place is not big.  The team win is still up for grabs!!</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><strong>The individual winner this week</strong></p>
<p>The biggest loser this week is Peggy.  With a percentage loss of 2.6%.  The biggest loser on the Black team was Anne with a percentage loss of 1.92%.  And the person with the biggest loss on the Red team was JP with a percentage loss of 1.18%.</p>
<p>You are going into your third week this week.  Next week’s weigh in will determine the winner of the mid-challenge makeover.  Time to step it up…if you want it you gotta work for it!!  This week is going to be a cold one so take advantage of the gym!  The cold weather should not be an excuse, if you want it you will make the time!!  Let’s see who has the will and makes the way this week…</p>

<p><strong><span style="color: #00ffff">Brian, Debbie, Meghan, Debby, Maureen, Debra, Lauren, Peggy, and Tim on it.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">The Red Team with Wendi as the coach has</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">Dave, Tori, Crystal, Mary, Mable, JP, Noreen, Katie, and Ginger on it.</span></strong></p>
<p>We kicked of this session with a Fitness test.  Everyone gave it their all and we saw the beginnings of some team spirit which should grow throughout the competition.  Although there are individual prizes there are also team prizes so it is important to support your team and make sure they are successful as well.</p>

<p align="center">We are at 3,760,321 steps so far.  This week <span style="color: #00ffff">Deb D</span> from the blue team had the most steps with 97,386.  Following close on her heels was<span style="color: #ff0000"> Deb D</span> from the red team with 94,227 steps.  One more week left to step it up let’s see if we can get over the 5 million step mark.  It should be possible…everyone remember to wear your pedometers and put in a little extra…park your car farther away, walk the stairs, take an extra class, anything to give your steps a little boost!!</p>

<p align="center">Two and a half million steps so far this challenge.  This week The most steps for the blue team went to <span style="color: #00ffff">Brian</span> with 100,108.  For the red team <span style="color: #ff0000">Debby</span> <span style="color: #ff0000">D</span> had 122,720 step.  There were also a few others with over 100,000 steps.  Keep it up!!!  The number you see on your pedometer is an indication of activity beyond the Biggest Loser class.</p>

<p align="center"><span style="color: #00ffff">Phaedra</span> is our biggest loser this week with a percentage loss of 1.95.  The red teams biggest loser was <span style="color: #ff0000">Debby D</span> with a loss of 1.29%.  Congrats!!!</p>

<p align="center">Just under the 1 million mark for steps between the two team…950,697.  We have a competition for the most steps between <span style="color: #00ffff">Deb D</span> on the blue team had 98,214 and edged out <span style="color: #ff0000">Debby D</span> on the red team who had 94,090 this week.  Your goal should be 10,000 steps a day the intent is to be active in your daily life!!</p>

<p style="text-align: center">Everyone put their all in to the challenge today and we hope you all had fun with the competition.  Unfortunately there can be only one winning team and that was…the <span style="color: #00ffff">blue team</span> with a total time of 31:15.  For winning hte challenge you get an extra workout with Deb.  Red teams time was 37:49.  <span style="color: #00ffff">CONGRATULATIONS!! </span></p>

<p align="center">For some reason this week seemed to be a struggle for a lot of our participants.  Maybe it was the cold weather and people could not get outside…don’t forget that you have full access to the gym during the challenge, take advantage of it when the weather does not  allow for outside activity.  If your struggles are food related make sure you track everything you eat for the week including when and where you eat.  Try to identify situations, people, times of day when you struggle so that you can adjust.  If you had a great week last week continue to do what you are doing…if you did not start, this week fresh and see what you can do this week!  Keep each other going and let the competition drive you as well…</p>

<p style="text-align: center" align="center">First week of the challenge and the total steps berween the two teams was 851,611.  A great start!!  <span style="color: #ff0000">Debby D</span> leads the pack with 121,891 and she is followed closely by <span style="color: #00ffff">Deb D</span> with 94,000.  Get out there and beat your steps from last week this week.</p>

<p><strong>Starts on Sunday, September 30th and runs through Sunday, November 11th.</strong></p>

<h3>What’s Included?</h3>
<p><strong>Training:</strong></p>

<li>Weekly Class with team trainer.</li>
<li>Classes to be held on Sunday afternoon</li>
<li>1 class hour duration</li>
<li>Will alternate weekly class times to normalize weigh-ins</li>

<p align="center">The obstacle course took place last week and everyone who attempted it finished!!  There was a prize associated with the challenge.  The fastest time won a gift certificate to Steahly Farms where they can take advantage of the season with fresh veggies and fruit!!  The top three finishers were:</p>

<p align="center">It was a really close contest for biggest loser this time.  The difference between the two was only .01%.  The winner of the Biggest Loser title was <span style="color: #00ffff">Liz J</span> with a total % loss of 9.3%.  <span style="color: #00ffff">Congratulation Liz</span>!!!  Liz won a makeover from Susan’s Fine Salon and Gathering and a round of Golf from Banner Country Club!!!</p>

<p align="center">We had perfect weather for the challenge today.  There were lots of red and blue shirts but even more cross team support and cheering…it was very good to see!!!  There were some great times posted for the obstacle course.  We will announce the winner at next week’s finale along with the prize.  I got some terrific pictures and will be putting together a slide show for you all to watch while Deb and I tally up the weigh-ins to determine this sessions biggest loser.</p>

<p align="center">In just two weeks we broke the 2 million step mark &#8211; 2,335,080.  The <span style="color: #00ffff">Blue</span> team is kicking behind with 1,520,910 while the <span style="color: #ff0000">red</span> team has 814,170.  Let’s see if the red team can step it up  this week!!</p>
<p align="center"><strong>The individual winner this week</strong></p>
<p align="center"><span style="color: #ff0000">Mark from the red team with a percentage loss of 2.76.</span>  This was the closest weekly biggest loser challenge with <span style="color: #00ffff">Liz J. from the Blue team having a 2.48% loss</span> this week.  Way to go!!!</p>

<p align="center"><span style="color: #ff0000">The Red team beat the blue team this week by a small margin.</span>  The <span style="color: #ff0000">red team had a percentage loss of .66%</span> while the <span style="color: #00ffff">blue team lost .55%</span>.  Can the red team win three weeks in a row or is the blue team going to bring the streak to an end???</p>
<p align="center">Another good week for biggest loser challenge.  We posted another 30.9 pounds of weight loss for a total of 86.5 pounds in two weeks.  Truly telling is that the turn out for the classes was great even though it was a holiday weekend!!!</p>
<p align="center">This coming week will be a challenge with the holiday on Monday.  Try to eat smart (chicken instead of hot dogs, green salad instead of potato salad, watermelon instead of cookies, etc…).  Even if you overdo it tomorrow you have the rest of the week to recover…DO NOT give up on the whole week for one day!!!</p>

<p align="center">For the first week of tracking steps we recorded 1, 214, 629 steps in just one week!!  The <span style="color: #00ffff">Blue</span> team had 760, 869 steps and the <span style="color: #ff0000">red</span> team had 453, 760 steps.  This is a great start and it is still anyone’s game right now…keep on stepping this week.  Don’t forget the person with the most steps wins a prize at the finale.</p>

<p align="center">This week was a team challenge week.  Both teams did an excellent job!!  The winning team was the <span style="color: #ff0000">red</span> team with a total time to complete the activities of 624 seconds.  The <span style="color: #00ffff">blue</span> team was very close with 642 seconds. (the difference was a little over 1 second per activity).  A very close competition…congratulations <span style="color: #ff0000">red</span> team.</p>

<p align="center"><strong>This week was the first individual challenge. The prize was a personal training session with your trainer during the week. The challenge was to be the last one &#8220;sitting” (wall sits).  Your trainers, however, underestimated your desire to be the biggest loser.  So after 5 minutes when the field was not down to one we ended up with multiple winners.  <span style="color: #00ffff">For the Blue team the winners were Debbie and Lauren.</span>  <span style="color: #ff0000">For the Red team the winners were John, Meghan, Fran, and Debby.</span>  A 5 minute wall sit you should all be very proud!!</strong></p>
